On February 10, 2024, the Honourable Ms. KAMIKAWA Yoko, Foreign Minister of Japan, paid a courtesy call on His Highness TUIMALEALI’IFANO Va’aletoa Sualauvi II, Head of State of the Independent State of Samoa.
This visit by the Japanese Foreign Minister marks a significant occasion as the first Ministerial-level visit from the Japanese Government to Samoa, coinciding with the celebration of 50 years of diplomatic relations between Japan and Samoa.
