The Pacific Island Countries Ambassadors Group (PICAG) meeting chaired by H.E Fa’alavaau Perina Jacqueline Sila-Tualaulelei held its fourth meeting of 2020 on the 18th December 2020. The PICAG meet once a quarter to discuss pertinent issues relating to the strengthening of diplomatic relations between the Pacific Island Countries and the Government of Japan including promotion of trade, investment, tourism, labour mobility and others through frameworks like the PALM Summit to support the development of the Pacific Islands.

The PICAG Agenda included the PALM 9 Summit schedule for the 2nd quarter or 2021 as well as the Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games 2020+1 and other events. The final meeting for the year was followed by a luncheon hosted by the Chair.
